What is a Bible Scavenger Hunt
So, what exactly is a Bible scavenger hunt?
It is just like a regular scavenger hunt where the participants are given a list of clues to help them find specific things. The first person/team to find all the things on the list within the allotted time, WINS!!
The only difference is the clues all relate to something from the Bible.
They can be tailored to either adults or children – with the difficulty of the clues being age-appropriate.
Bible Scavenger Hunt Clues
What kind of clues should be used for a Christian-themed scavenger hunt?
There is no right or wrong way to go about this. Of course, keep in mind the age of the participants and not making them too difficult for smaller kids.
But Bible scavenger hunt clues can include things such as:
- A missing word/phrase from a Bible verse
- An animal from a Bible story
- A person/character from a Bible story
The items they are “scavenging” for can be:
- physical things you’ve hidden
- taking a selfie with something they find on their own
- finding something that relates to the clue (such as a loaf of bread when the clue is “Jesus broke this with His disciples…”)
